William was born June 21, 1979 in Robeson County, NC. He was raised in Fairmont, NC and grew up playing baseball and golf. He had his first official golf lesson at the age of 15 at Pinehurst Resort, and fell in love with the game. William had baseball and golf scholarships to colleges in North Carolina & South Carolina. After being recruited by several schools in two different sports, William decided to attend Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC and focus on golf. Read Full Biography
